the key ingredients for the beef are Silver Swan soy sauce & Knorr tomato buillion. for the gravy on the rice, use adobo sauce

try this one; thinly slice your steakof choice, fry it up stovetoptill the juice cooks down, add some oyster sauce, good amount and some soy sauce. add 1/2 to 1 cup water to skillet. stir some n cook down some. that makes the gravy for the rice. when finished, about 15 min. squeeze juice of 1/2 lemon over the beef. ummmmm serve over a bed of lettuce. slice tomatoes around the plate. Enjoy

The way I was taught by my mom who was raised in seattle is kikoman soy sauce with round steak cut unto strips marnated. Rice and briwn gravy with lettuce and tomatos.
