So any ideas on how to make an iPhone battery last longer? Its running 4.0 on a 3GS, but less than 5 hours is ridiculous. Upgrade?

bump up to 4.3...turn off WiFi when you don't need it, and you can get extra juice if you don't need Location services.

I actually already still do that. I am on 4.3, turn off wifi, etc. Thing sucks power like no other...

next phone is likely to be announced in Sept. So telling you to drop $80 on a e or get a 4 would be bad adivse
