Does anyone know an easy way to tell the difference between crows, rooks, ravens & jackdaws? #Birds #Ornithology

jackdaws have the silvery sheen to their head and are much smaller/slender than crow. Look at the RSPB website.

ravens are all black, including their bills whereas rooks have a greyish bill.

Rooks you'll hear a mile off. Big old trees are usually full of their gigantic nests and the noise is mad!

I think we have them in my hometown. There are huge nests with noisy birds next to the castle

like I said their populations have been in decline for a few years. farming methods and lack of nesting sites are to blame

I see alot of buzzards up in shropshire. Red kites in the Chilterns hover over the motorway. You should take it up.
