Hubby gets canker sores really bad, does anybody know how to treat them? Both to prevent them, and make them feel better?

it might be an allergy to something. I found out the the acidity in tomatoes and something in banana's was doing it to me.

Mix together some liquid benadril and liquid malox and swish it on the sore then spit it out. It should give some relief.

is he GI/orCeliac ? cause the gluten can cause those as well

no he doesn't eat gluten either. he gets them from stress. our entire house is gluten free.

I remember my mom using Alum on them to make them go away. If I remember correctly...? Might be something to look into?

I use to get them when I played the tuba (srsly). Only thing that helped the pain was chloraspetic spray.

Randy gets really bad canker sores from acidic fruits, strawberries, oranges, etc. He uses the cold sore med Abreeva on them.
