Can anyone suggest a decent #beefrendang recipe and suggest the best cut of beef to use? perhaps?

Lots of good recipes out there; I'd go for one where lemongrass, galangal, garlic, onion feature prominently...

thanks! Agree - last recipe I used had too much star anise/cinnamon flavours, hence the shout-out!

Try using a commercial meat curry powder and add those ingredients to it; fry mix till brown, add meat, braise with coco milk
