Hmm, I only know Mediawiki, which looks prehistoric compared to Confluence...

Wikis should look texty as they are all about content. For small wikis I like Docuwiki, personal information Tiddlywiki.

confluence is amazing.you can truly collaborate but still moderate through great rights mgmt. no idea bout the costs though

Well, I just bought the $10 license for our home network ;) For work, I think the costs are manageable #confluence
