you can't switch back because old twitter is from a long time ago, the new twitter is also from along time ago, but it's newer than the old twitter. when they first made the new twitter, they allowed you to switch over to the new one.. but now the old twitter is VERY old and they want every one to use the new twitter, even though it's only new the the people using the old twitter. new twitter has alot of great new features that the old twitter doesn't have
