Looking into getting a web domain. Does it matter whether I go with a .com or .ca, or... what is the main impact of the domain suffix?

I don't think there is a big difference. .com seemed to be easier to remember but I'm using .ca now (showing red&white pride)

that's what I'm debating--using a .ca. I don't think the suffix matters much if you are not a business.

I agree. I'm using a .ca & I like that it identifies me as a Canadian. But, if your target audience would care, then go with .com

You should ask the web domain questions. He knows all about that stuff.

In the US I would say the .com is always the first best option but since you are Canadian you may want the .ca~ just my 2 cents.

thanks for your suggestion. Most of the good .coms are taken so I'm thinking .ca is the way to go
