Do you want passive (i.e. isolating) or active noise cancellation? In-ear or over-ear?

the bose qc15 i have are ok (despite the shitty cable). noise isolating is better (i had some etymotic er4p years ago- were great)

I like my IE7s for in-ear noise isolating. Not *totally* blanking surrounding noise, but lovely sound and decent isolation.
