Why does OSU not accept credit cards?

well I'd like to use mine to pay my fees but I can't online or in the building.

I'm pretty sure to pay your fees they only accept checking accounts to make sure students aren't using credit cards for tuition.

but the weird this is that they let me use it last year at osu newark

They might have a different system there. They've never let me use it to pay my fees online. Just use your checking numbers!
