I do use Chrome, it's just sad Mozilla don't bother to integrate with Lion. Safari is a memory hog.

It makes my fan go ten to the dozen, the email features are cool. Don't quite understand launchpad or whatever and that's about it!

Haha yeah :) happens on my mate's MacBook too. His is newer as well. Also - iOS5 now prevents me from tweeting at work! Could before!

Thing is both these things have to be a deeper problem than the OS if its working fine for a lot of people.
