I just roasted a chicken in mine, skin doesn't crisp but tastes amazing. Garlic/olive oil on skin, whole lemon inside mmm

around 5 hours but it's really tender & juicy. Gave me plenty time to sit & read ;-)

I used to cheat & just chop up all the ingredients I wanted then stick a jar of curry sauce over the top before heading out

friend told me one where you put in rice, chicken breasts & then pour a tin of mushroom soup over it & leave. Haven't tried.

Hmm, cannot get on bored with mushrooms, they are evil fungi. Could do with tomato soup, though.
