Fruitflies popping up all over. Started when I began putting live potted plants around, so I see the correlation, but how do I stop them?

Those are fungus gnats, not fruit flies. You need insecticidal soap spray and yellow sticky traps from the garden store.

It has happened to me too. Those gnats hitched a ride in the soil of your new plants. Spray the insect soap on the soil to kill
