Very enjoyable! However not as scary as Alien

as good though? Enough reference to Alien?

You want to be a human robot!? You wouldn't be a very good student ambassador!

it was like not getting the cool present at Xmas. It was still Xmas but it just wasn't right. Plus the score is atrocious

Prometheus: really good. Interesting ideas, pace & ambition, stunning design, unlike most films today. Script a bit pants mind

good but...a little problematic I thought.

very good a solid 8/10. Was even watchable in cruddy 3D! Snow white and the huntsman was nice surprise too 7.5/10

v.bad in parts I thought!

plus can't hold a candle to magnificent classic Alien, so those expecting that or a masterpiece will be severely disappointed

If it doesn't get the studio 279 seal of approval, I don't go.

can't disagree there! Last third really let the side down. Bit like Lindelof's Lost: poses big questions, cops out of them in end

Youtube-thumbnail_normal @Studio279 Birmingham, United Kingdom

it more than gets my seal of approval, but it is massively flawed. Still interesting and worth a look.

I think that DRIVE, Hanna, and the last couple Fincher films show what scores can be.The old style doesn't cut the mustard anymore

Drive! No we're talking!

amazing visuals, a feast for the eyes, but didn't connect with or care enough about what happened to the characters.

It was visually lovely, a great cast squandered by poor characterization. Very muddled and uninspired plot. Promethe-arse!

terrible! Trying to fit way too much into one film, none of the characters seemed to give a shit about anything. The only good

thing about it was Michael Fassbender playing his usual character

An interesting failure. Visually stunning in places, surprisingly bland in others, but ultimately undone by a very bad script

really stunning to look at but a bit hollow story wise. MF is great as the android though, and guy Pearce.

I saw it. Was entertaining, but ultimately unoriginal. Basically the same plot as Alien. Essentially a prequel to Alien.

Always good to see Rafe Spall though. And Fassbender's Peter O'Toole inspired performance was lovely.

rafe spall is hot. We'd want him in scrawl... And our bed... But mainly in scrawl.

Saw Prometheus last night and found it visually stunning, thought provoking and exciting. I thought the acting was good and yes the script was a bit laboured in parts, but overall I give it 9.5/10....easily a modern day rival to Alien.
