Question of the day: Will e-readers "kill" libraries? We got into a heated debate about this the other night at dinner. What do you think?

Not at all. My wife works at @FLPLibrary, and they check out e-readers as well as ebooks through Overdrive now.

Nope. Print books are more durable, in reality. As soon as electricity is gone, ebooks are too ;)

I think they expedite the the death of libraries as we know them but the real culprit is our government because of cuts.

@FLPLibrary ...libraries are the places to go to find out about books, whether it's ebook or not. Like you said, adapting.
