Thats an MS Works text document. Maybe ask the person who gave it to you to resend it to you as .rtf format (rich text) ?

try changing file extension to txt and open in text edit. Did that work? You will lose formatting etc. Good luck!

That's a Microsoft Works file. Microsoft Word should open it if you have it, but you may have to use File/Open in Word itself.

You have to convert it using this site: zamzar.com to .RTF format and then you can open it in any word processor.

probably was old ms works folder. Try opening the file in text edit without rich text enabled to extract the text. Good luck : )

.wps is a MS Works file. Download Free MS Word viewer from http://alturl.com/mrwgm. Won't be able to edit file can can view it.

It’s Microsoft Works. You can’t open it on a Mac. Ask sender to save as plain text or RTF. I have the same problem here.
