Is it me or does the iPad take forever and a day to charge?

It charges quickly for me using the charger; slightly slower through Mac's USB; WAY slower via monitor's USB

From the laptop it does. Not from the wall charger. Laptop is 5 volt. Charger is 10 volt.

Takes longer to charge, much longer to discharge. Read the tech note from Apple about charging via MacBook USB.

I only charge mine every couple of days and I do that while I sleep.

It does take a long time to charge but it sure does last a lot longer than the iPhone.

It's faster if you plug it into the wall. The USB ports aren't powerful enough.

You will want to charge via outlet..waaaaay fast than USB. It does charge via USB even when it says it isn't...but not good. :)
