Does anybody know how to make a XML document open on firefox or google chrome rather than internet explorer, even if GC is your default

Assuming this is #Windows. Click on an XML file using Windows Explorer so it is highlighted. Hold down the shift key and right click the item to open the context menu. There should be an option to 'Open with'. You can then select which program to open the #XML file in and there should be a checkbox to allow you to always open an XML file with your chosen programme.
