Why does updating #VMware Player from 3.1.3 to 3.1.4 involve uninstalling 3.1.3, a reboot, installing 3.1.4, and then another reboot?! #wtf

so much for newer platforms not needing reboots, that annoys me big time, prob find it updated virtual NICs or hardware drivers

#VMware Player (for Windows) is a 100+MB download but I doubt every single file changed - it should just apply a patch!

I know but for a minor point update it really shouldn't do that - Workstation is worse given the file size increase
